Esther, Frankie and Shiloh don’t know each other. Their lives are very different, and they don’t have any mutual friends.
They have something in common – sometimes they feel utterly alone.
This new play from women’s criminal justice theatre company Clean Break explores youth loneliness in London. Filled with hope, longing and lyricism; the debut play from bold new voices Carys Wright and River is based on devised work by Brazen, Clean Break’s Young Artists.
Belong was created as part of the Co-Op Foundation funded Youth Loneliness Project and is showing at the Lyric Hammersmith for its Evolution festival.
