Consultant for reading programme in women’s prisons

The Reading Agency are a looking for a freelance consultant [UK, £4,000 inclusive of VAT and expenses, 16 days] to run a series of focus groups with women in prison and interviews with library and education staff during the autumn of 2018.

Their annual Reading Ahead programme is currently being run in all 12 prisons in England holding women, though to varying degrees. The long-term aim is to extend the impact of Reading Ahead and the successful candidate’s work will inform this strategy.
