The University of Cambridge’s Institute of Criminology seeks to appoint a Research Assistant/Associate [£26,243 – £39,609, full time, Cambridge] for a three-year programme titled Inspiring Futures Footprint.
Inspiring Futures
Inspiring Futures Footprint is the research component of Inspiring Futures, a National Criminal Justice Arts Alliance (NCJAA) initiative to bring about measurable change in both the credibility and the reach of arts projects in the criminal justice sector.
The programme aims to establish a new cross-disciplinary theory of arts impact in the criminal justice sector through the development of a robust, technically innovative and self-sustaining evidence base.
The role
The role of the Research Assistant/Associate will be to contribute to a number of aspects of the research programme, including data collection, coding and analysis, the writing up and presentation of the research findings, alongside the organisation of seminars, workshops and other dissemination activities.
The post will include an amount of fieldwork across England. Skills in both qualitative and quantitative analysis are essential, as is experience of working within a research team and academic interviewing.
