Meet the team
Simon Ruding was elected as Co-Chair of the National Criminal Justice Arts Alliance in July 2020. He is the Director of TiPP (The Theatre in Prisons and Probation Centre).
Simon has over thirty years’ experience of developing and delivering arts based programmes in criminal justice settings. He has worked extensively in prison, probation, youth justice and social care services throughout the UK and beyond, delivering projects in Scandinavia, South Africa and the United States. Previously he was Director of Geese Theatre Company.
Simon is an Honorary Research Associate of the University of Manchester where he has been course coordinator of the prestigious Applied Theatre: Criminal Justice course since 1999.
