The Night Alphabet is a new collection of short stories from Joelle Taylor, and to celebrate it she has been mentoring three women from marginalised communities in the development of their careers: Lady Unchained (former prisoner), Sarah Crutwell (mental health advocate), and Ansori Sad Howidi (Iraqi / Syrian refugee).
The three women have made short poetry-prose films about their experiences which will be screened at the event. Following the screening there will be a live gig featuring all three women, and a reading from the The Night Alphabet by Joelle Taylor.
