SUMMARY:Changing Stories symposium at HMP Thorn Cross
DESCRIPTION:Thursday 11th April 2019\nHMP Thorn Cross\, Cheshire\nFree (registration essential) \nTo celebrate the conclusion of its Changing Stories project\, Theatre in Prisons and Probation (TiPP) is holding an afternoon symposium at HMP Thorn Cross. \nThe organisation invites anyone wanting an insight into the work TiPP does to come along and meet some of the artists it works with. HMP Thorn Cross is one of the key locations for delivering Changing Stories\, so TiPP is really pleased to be able to say that some of the men it has been working with will be joining to talk about their experiences and share some of their work. \nChanging Stories is a participatory arts project based in four North West prisons\, equipping participants with the skills to write\, create theatre\, and perform music that tell the stories that shape who they are. \nAs a part of the day\, lunch will be provided by men working in the Black Cap Restaurant in the prison. \n\nPlaces are free\, but spaces are limited. As the event takes place at a prison\, registration is essential. \nIf you would like to find out more or book a space\, email cara@tipp.org.uk before 1st April 2019. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nImage courtesy of TiPP
