DESCRIPTION:4th December 2017 | National Theatre\, London | #ArtsCJS2017 \nBook your tickets here \n  \nWe are delighted to invite you to attend the National Criminal Justice Arts Alliance (NCJAA) Annual Conference to discuss ‘what’s next for arts in criminal justice?’ \nThe conference aims to offer our membership an opportunity to explore and discuss the future priorities for the sector. We will be highlighting examples of innovation and best practice against the latest developments that are supporting a real step change in the recognition and legitimacy of the work of the NCJAA membership. \nThe programme includes: \n\nJohn Glen MP\, Minister for Arts\, Heritage and Tourism\nDarren Henley OBE\, CEO of Arts Council England\nSir Peter Bazalgette\, Executive Chairman of ITV; Nick Hardwick\, Chair of Parole Board; and Sally Taylor\, CEO of Koestler Trust\, in a Question Time panel\nExclusive performance of restorative justice theatre\, The Listening Room\nClean Break‘s Hear\, written by Deborah Bruce\n\nWith contributions from leading arts and criminal justice organisations and individuals\, in breakout sessions on: \n\nArts in criminal justice: building the creative economy\nThe Lammy Review: the creative case\nDigital Innovation in criminal justice: how arts make an impact\n\nBookings for breakout sessions are now open. Conversations will feed into the NCJAA’s priorities as we begin our journey to become an Arts Council England\, National Portfolio Sector Support Organisation from 2018 onwards. Make sure you attend and have your say! \n\nTo introduce our new bursary scheme\, we are offering 20 free places to volunteers working within arts and criminal justice\, and those with a lived experience of the criminal justice system.
